The Back Protector Race Vest is especially designed for alpine ski racing and freeride skiiing or snowboarding where extra protection is needed. The Race vest uses a thicker pad and is certified according to a higher standard; EN 1621-2:2014, Level 2.

The Back Protector Race Vest is comfortable and light, but offers supreme protection thanks to premium visco-elastic foam from SAS-TEC - soft and comfortable, but with impressive multi-impact shock absorbing properties. The protection pad is 19mm thick - 6mm thicker than our standard vest - and the vest has a wide waistband for personalized fit.

Sweet Shock Shield

Sweet Protection's proprietary 3S™ (Sweet Shock Shield) technology uses a visco-elastic pad that hardens on impact. This allows the pad to be super comfortable to wear, but still provide maximum protection when you need it most.
